ORIGA Stop Cylinders for Reliable Holding of Heavy Loads

ORIGA stop cylinders provide damped braking of heavy conveyed loads and also hold loads firmly in position. Offering variants for horizontal or vertical installation as well as easily exchangeable industrial shock absorbers, ORIGA stop cylinders can be perfectly tailored to satisfy the requirements of the most diverse range of applications.

Expanding its European Presence in Pneumatic Technologies

CLEVELAND - October 1, 2008 - Parker Hannifin Corporation (NYSE: PH), the global leader in motion and control technologies, today announced that it has acquired Hoerbiger-Origa Holding AG (Origa Group) from Hoerbiger Holding AG of Zug, Switzerland. Origa Group is a manufacturer of rodless pneumatic actuators electric actuators, FRLs (filter regulator lubricator), pneumatic cylinders, and valves used in the transportation, semiconductor, packaging and conveying markets. The Group has major operations in Filderstadt, Germany, Wiener Neustadt, Austria, Glendale Heights, Illinois in the United States and smaller facilities in several other international locations.

Origa will continue to serve our customers globally, now as a division of Parker Hannifin's Automation Group.

ORIGA Intermediate Stop Module ZSM

The new intermediate stop module ZSM allows highly accuracy positioning of any intermediate position of ORIGA rodless cylinders. For example in combination with the heavy duty linear drive HD, a recirculating ball bearing guide suited for very high loads, while meeting the highest requirements in precision and dynamics.
